During my time as a designer for UNITUS, I had the opportunity to collaborate and work closely with Jonathan Isaac and a team of four other designers to fully realize his vision for his new company: designing his first basketball shoe. We worked to create his first shoe design, Judah 1, and it's logo. As well as, additional branding elements, clothing, and artwork to support the release of his new shoe.

LOGO
One of our responsibilities as designers was to create a logo for Jonathan's new shoe: Judah 1. Here are examples of some of my designs, which would go on to survive much of the review process; Even making it to the final client-approved design.

Branding
Another one of our responsibilities as designers was to create additional branding concepts to support the release of the shoe. This would include special artwork, which could be used across print & digital media, as well as providing clothing designs, such as shirts and sportswear.

The Shoe
Our most important task was designing Judah 1. As a team we would deliver a shoe that needed to meet Jonathan Isaac's specifications and reflect his most important values; one of which was having "the pride of a lion". With each step in the process, the shoe would begin to harken back more and more to this symbol of a lion.
From the the earliest preliminary sketches to the final approved design, here are just a few of the many different pieces I contributed throughout this process.
